In John 6:35 (NIV) Jesus declared “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.’”
It was our prayer this morning with Showers To The People, Inc. that we have opportunities to share this truth with our friends on the street and we did!
These freshly made PB&J sandwiches reminded us of that verse last night as we were preparing for Serve Day today!
Normally a rainy day means a low turnout however over twenty some patrons showed up for showers, hot coffee and yes, PB&J sandwiches!
One of our valued team members moved to TN. He really was perfect at ushering people into the queue for showers and we wondered how we would find a replacement. But God sent a young man today…and he jumped in and by the end of the day, he owned the position!
