Marvelous day of ministry yesterday with our team that also included our grandson and my youngest brother Our volunteers showed up in record numbers making the tasks at hand happen ‘so easily!’
Two of the new volunteers ‘missionaries’ were sent out from our N Tryon site to meet and witness to persons along the streets. When they returned, that sat with and prayed with our patrons waiting on showers.
“…As it is written: ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things!'” Romans 10:15
Lastly, another shower/laundry/food ministry approached us wanting to know if he could set up alongside us at future events. We asked “can you answer one question? Do you love Jesus Christ?” He answered “Yes I do!” Their ministry even has the same scripture verse on their trailer as we do – Matthew 25:40!
It’s been a week in which God has touched this ministry in so many ways – may the name of our Lord Jesus Christ be praised!
