We’ve been working hard over the last several months in our attempt to raise the rest of the money in order to up fit the shower trailer we purchased back in the spring!
GOOD NEWS. WONDERFUL NEWS. FANTASTIC NEWS.
The rest of the money came in this week in a single donation with this note; “My dad always had a heart for the homeless. He faithfully donated to the Water Street Mission / Emergency Shelter in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. We found we could continue that legacy with a generous donation to Showers To The People.”
Thank you ALL for your prayers and your support. Most of all, we thank God for his timely provisions!
So what’s next? We will take the funds to the trailer manufacturer, Davenport Trailers, for the necessary modifications. Steve Davenport says it will take about two months to complete the upfit which potentially means we can roll out the shower trailer on the streets in January! We can’t wait!
