545AM Saturday, April 25, 2026, It’s serve day with Showers To The People, Inc. and I am grateful we are able to go today! Grateful because of problems with the trailer generator that we were able to work around. I am not sure what happened, but the trailer generator was not putting out any electricity. I checked all off the breakers – none were tripped. I thought we were going to have to cancel today but the Lord prompted me to pull out our old Honda generator. I put fresh gas in the gas tank, it started on second pull! It’s been sitting for God only knows how long however it was smoking badly due to a suspected stuck oil ring. I shot a ton of PB Blaster in the gas tank and then a bunch more in the crankcase – IT QUIT SMOKING!
Thank you Lord Jesus! I then emptied out the crankcase and filled it with new synthetic oil. It ran great! I plugged in the electrical cable to the trailer -it continued to run great! So we are off in one hour ready to serve God by serving our friends on the street.
