Not every day in ministry is going to be fun… Some days are just downright annoying.
Much of today’s Showers To The People service was aggravating with more technical problems which we finally resolved after several hours of frustration!
God doesn’t call us to fun or happiness or good times. He calls us to holiness…
“𝒃𝙪𝒕 𝙡𝒊𝙠𝒆 𝒕𝙝𝒆 𝑯𝙤𝒍𝙮 𝙊𝒏𝙚 𝙬𝒉𝙤 𝙘𝒂𝙡𝒍𝙚𝒅 𝒚𝙤𝒖, 𝒃𝙚 𝙝𝒐𝙡𝒚 𝒚𝙤𝒖𝙧𝒔𝙚𝒍𝙫𝒆𝙨 𝙖𝒍𝙨𝒐 𝒊𝙣 𝙖𝒍𝙡 𝙮𝒐𝙪𝒓 𝒃𝙚𝒉𝙖𝒗𝙞𝒐𝙧;
𝙗𝒆𝙘𝒂𝙪𝒔𝙚 𝙞𝒕 𝒊𝙨 𝙬𝒓𝙞𝒕𝙩𝒆𝙣: “𝙔𝒐𝙪 𝙨𝒉𝙖𝒍𝙡 𝙗𝒆 𝒉𝙤𝒍𝙮, 𝒇𝙤𝒓 𝑰 𝒂𝙢 𝙝𝒐𝙡𝒚.1𝙋𝒆𝙩𝒆𝙧 1:15-17
And Jesus calls us to service…
“𝑨𝙣𝒅 𝒔𝙞𝒕𝙩𝒊𝙣𝒈 𝒅𝙤𝒘𝙣, 𝑯𝙚 𝙘𝒂𝙡𝒍𝙚𝒅 𝒕𝙝𝒆 𝒕𝙬𝒆𝙡𝒗𝙚 𝙖𝒏𝙙 𝙨𝒂𝙞𝒅 𝒕𝙤 𝙩𝒉𝙚𝒎,
“𝑰𝙛 𝙖𝒏𝙮𝒐𝙣𝒆 𝒘𝙖𝒏𝙩𝒔 𝒕𝙤 𝙗𝒆 𝒇𝙞𝒓𝙨𝒕, 𝙝𝒆 𝒔𝙝𝒂𝙡𝒍 𝒃𝙚 𝙡𝒂𝙨𝒕 𝒐𝙛 𝙖𝒍𝙡 𝙖𝒏𝙙 𝙨𝒆𝙧𝒗𝙖𝒏𝙩 𝙤𝒇 𝒂𝙡𝒍.” 𝙈𝒂𝙧𝒌 9:35
The short of this is remembering why we are doing all of this and who we are really serving… it is for the good of mankind and for the glory of King Jesus!
The day started early with the preparation of sandwiches and the shower equipment.
